Can I come to the garden just to walk around?

Absolutely! Come and stroll around our gardens and appreciate the peace and quiet.

What time do you open?

In winter we are open on Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm and Saturday – Sunday between the hours of midday and 5:00pm.

In summer we are open on Monday – Friday between the hours of 10:00am and 6:00pm and Saturday – Sunday between the hours of midday and 6:00pm.

Do you grow your own vegetables at Calthorpe?

Yes! And what’s better is we turn them into tasty meals for our community lunches on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Can I bring my friends along? 

Yes! We welcome everyone at Calthorpe. Come along with your friends and family and enjoy the community feel and tranquil surroundings. 

How can I donate?

Calthorpe relies on donations from people like you to remain open. You can donate throughout the website via the green ‘Donate’ buttons

Is there a minimum donation? 

Via text we have a minimum donation of £1 + your standard network provider fee, but via Localgiving the minimum donation is £2.

Can I bring my dog to the garden?

For health and safety reasons, only guide dogs are allowed into the garden.
