Our garden is a lovely place to introduce your little one to nature, and you’ll find a warm welcome at our cafe too. Our dedicated sessions for parents/carers and under 5s:
MONDAY 11am – 3pm Little Green Fingers, gardening and environmental stay & play enables children to dig in their own garden growing fruit and vegetables to eat. During cold days we plant in our polytunnel , feed the birds, cook healthy meals and do art and craft in our early years play room. Joanne Shuffler, runs our LGF group and is currently training with the Forest School Association. Come and join us in a relaxing and friendly setting where children learn about nature and develop new skills. You’ll also meet other parents and carers. Please bring appropriate clothing as children will get dirty. The session costs £1.50 for parents/grandparents and £2 for childminders or nannies for healthy snacks. There is no charge for families bringing proof of receipt of benefit.
Feb 25th – Plant fruit or veg seeds from home, scavenger hunt round the garden looking for signs of Winter. March 4th – CLOSED. March 11th – CLOSED. March 18th –Make veg soup, plant sweet pea seeds. March 25th – Scavenger hunt round the garden looking for signs of Spring.
TUESDAY & FRIDAY 10am – 1pm Creche & Co-working cafe offers 3 hours of creative play and learning for your little one (age 1-3) while you enjoy three hours of ‘me’ time in our cafe right next door. You can also join in workshops, courses and networking events for parents. Our wonderful professional creche team, Joanne, Sandra and Lazim are on hand to help you and your child make the most of your time with us. Admission: £30 for 3 hours + booking fee.
